When asked to comment as a "newbie" volunteer for MMM in Malawi, the first
word that comes to mind is "more". More work, more hours, more
strenious, more exhausting. More rewarding, more fun, more fellowship,
more fulfilling. Isn't it just like God to give us more - more than we
can ask or think or imagine? |

The planning, the shots, the gear, the unknown --- any of these could have turned into a reason not to go to Africa with
Marion Medical Mission as a first time volunteer. The smiles, the waves, the hands extended in greeting, the sight of clean
water coming out of new wells -- all of these have become reasons to praise God and pray for the opportunity to return. |
