The 2009 Marion Medical Mission Team installed 2071 shallow wells.  The wells included over 400 in Tanzania and  400 in Zambia with the rest in Malawi.

There were two teams this year. The first team, Tom & Jocelyn Logan, Paul Adams, Kevin Applegate, Hayden Boyd, Jeanne Earley, Robin Guion, Hanna Hjord, Emily Krause, Charles Lewis, Terri Lorant, Joel Magee, Steve McKeown,   Rene Moquin, Jim & Carol Nussbaumer, Patti Nussle, Meg Presley, Ken Reed, Jerry Roush, Bob & Carol Rose, Trenda Weisshaar and Larry Wood was there from Sept 18th thru Oct 12th.  

The second team,  Tom & Jocelyn Logan, Paul Adams, Kevin Applegate, Kent Bell, Jeff Grote, Doug Kee, Rich Keller, Bob Koster, Terry Mason, Jim & Carol Nussbaumer, Joe Orr, Marlin Otte, Russ Peterson, Meg Presley, Betty Samelson, Ron Shult, Hugh & Paulette Stempfley, Fred Wilson and  Larry Wood was there from Oct 9th thru Nov 2nd.  

Jocelyn Logan, Marion, Illinois, helped plan and coordinate the work of our mission team, as well as drove a truck installing wells.

Tom Logan, Marion, Illinois, covered most of the entire region installing wells and coordinating everyone!!

Hanna Hjord, Marion, Illinois, on her third trip with MMM, installed shallow wells.

Terri Lorant, Birminham, Alabama, on her first trip with MMM, installed shallow wells.

Joel Magee, Erie, Pennsylvania, on his second trip with MMM, installed shallow wells.

Steve McKeown, Herrin, Illinois, on his second trip with MMM, did vital maintenance on the vehicles and installed shallow wells.

Rene Moquin, Estes Park, Colorado on his first trip with MMM, installed shallow wells.

Jim Nussbaumer, Estes Park, Colorado on his eleventh trip with MMM, installed shallow wells. 

Carol Nussbaumer, Estes Park, Colorado on her seventh trip with MMM, worked at the School for the Hard of Hearing.

Patti Nussle, Columbus, Ohio, on her third trip with MMM, installed shallow wells.

Meg Presley,  Birmingham, Alabama, on her fourth trip with MMM, installed shallow wells.

Ken Reed, Watertown, New York, on his third trip with MMM, installed shallow wells.

Jerry Roush, Quincy, Illinois, on his seventh trip with MMM, redesigned the pump, worked on manufacturing it and installed shallow wells.
